WebRTC - Stream shows no image
Overview
When starting a WebRTC broadcast from a Medinbox system, a background application is launched automatically. If this background application is not properly configured, the remote participant will see no image.
Symptoms
• WebRTC broadcast starts but the remote viewer sees a black screen or no video.
• Audio/video preview inside Producer appears correct, but the WebRTC output does not.
Root Cause
The WebRTC background application responsible for streaming is running with incorrect input/output settings. It must be manually configured once for the broadcast to work.
Resolution Steps
1. Exit Producer by double-clicking the Medinbox logo in the upper-left corner.
2. Locate and open the Medinbox WebRTC application (from the taskbar if visible, or via Task Manager).
3. Adjust the WebRTC application settings as follows:
4. • Video In: Medinbox
5. • Audio In: Voicemeeter Out B1
6. • Audio Out: Voicemeeter Input
7. Click 'Start Input'.
8. Click 'Start Broadcasting'.
Notes
If the MIB PC is shut down, the WebRTC broadcast automatically stops. This ensures that no unwanted background connection remains active.
